Overview

Golden Gate is a 3 hour experience that provides participants with a method for improving team work. It is ideal for large groups and is suitable as an indoor or outdoor programme.

The participants have to function together as one sole organisation, in different teams and sub-groups, in order to build a huge bridge. This fun, collaborative activity on a fascinating theme can be easily adapted to a multilingual environment to complete your seminar's agenda.

The Activity

Congratulations ! Your team has been chosen to participate in the bid for a contract to build a bridge in your community. You are a young engineering firm and this is your first big contract. Your team is composed of engineers and architects. Check your pencils, your rulers, your hammers, fill your toolbox, the building project awaits !!! This is the GOLDEN GATE simulation. You have to realise a project from beginning to end : create a bridge that fulfills all the contractual requirements.
